A childcare subsidy of up to $40.00 will be available to any member who incurs childcare costs to attend the LSNT Annual General Meeting. To receive this allowance, a Childcare Subsidy Form must be signed and returned to the Law Society staff at the Meeting. Forms will also be available at the Meeting.
To assist in the accurate recording of motions and to ensure that members are aware of the substance of those motions, please see the attached Motion Sheet and follow the instructions for completion. Motion Sheets will also be available at the Meeting. Completed motions will be retained by the Law Society.
Members are reminded that they can sign up for Law Society committees at any time through the Member Portal. The Law Society is reliant on member volunteers to perform many of the necessary functions of the Society. Please consider volunteering some of your time to help in the self-governance of the Northwest Territories bar.
