| Contents Family Law Section Meeting The Family Law Section will be meeting Wednesday, July 15, at 12:00pm in Society boardroom. Section members and all interested members are encouraged to attend. Please RSVP your attendance by return . CBA-NWT Family BBQ The CBA-NWT Branch Executive and Council invite all CBA and Law Society members and their families to the Annual Family BBQ. Thursday, July 23 - 6:00pm Join special guests Guy Joubert and Gillian Marriott for an evening of fun in the sun and excellent food. CBA - NWT Branch: Annual General Meeting All CBA members are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting on Friday, July 24, 2009 in the Janvier Room of the Explorer Hotel. CBA National President Guy Joubert and Gillian Marriott, Acting President of the CBA Alberta Branch, will be present to discuss CBA at the National level and CBA abroad. Lunch & Learn Series: Privacy Issues in Electronics Wednesday, July 29 - 12:00pm Privacy is always a concern for lawyers. Nowadays, the ever-changing technological world is consistently accompanied by the looming threat of privacy breaches. Elaine Keenan Bengts will explore such privacy issues, including the do's and don't's of electronic communication in a law office setting, the responsibilities of a commercial enterprise under PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act), and some cautionary tales about mobile devices.
