Civil Bench and Bar Meeting

The representatives of the Bar for the Civil Bench and Bar Committee are Adrian Wright, Donald Large, Paul Falvo and Katherine Peterson.

The first meeting of the newly constituted Committee will be on April 1, 2009. The issues to date which we anticipate will be discussed are:

  1. Registry practices in filing documents, or holding documents to be filed;
  2. Fast tracking interim viva voce interim hearings in family law matters, disclosure issues with that, and other related questions;
  3. Case Management or Settlement Conference practices.

If you wish a matter raised, please contact one of the Committee members and outline the issue and the nature of your concerns.

The Committee will ensure that a summary of issues discussed or decisions made will be circulated to the Membership. If you have suggestions as to how this is best accomplished, please let us know.
